One-day Writing Workshop, Rotorua (Writer's Toolbox)

Learn practical classroom strategies to take student writing to the next level.

Led by a Writer’s Toolbox expert writing coach, this engaging workshop teaches you explicit classroom strategies that boost student writing—any subject, any year level.  

What we’ll cover

  • Explore a whole-school, common-language approach to writing and learn effective writing techniques to use in your classroom.

  • Experience Writer’s Toolbox Sentence Styles: teach sentence form and function in a fun, memorable, and jargon-free way.

  • Learn explicit paragraph structures to showcase a range of cognitions.  There’s more to paragraphs than a one-size-fits-all approach!

  • Develop engaged, confident, self-directed writers, boosting their results across all subjects.

  • Become a stronger writer yourself—model great writing and develop great writers.

  • Plus, try the award-winning Writer’s Toolbox online tool and see for yourself the change it can make in the classroom.
