Are you a teacher or teacher aide who is interested in using a Structured Literacy approach and you have no idea where to start? Or maybe you have heard about Structured Literacy and would like to find out more. This is an ideal workshop for anyone who is at the start of their Structured Literacy journey. For Teachers, Teacher Aides, RTLBs, RTLit’s, Homeschooling caregivers, SENCO’s, Management, etc.

What is covered:

  • Explore the principles of a Structured Literacy approach

  • Discover the importance of phonemic awareness

  • Learn how to use a scope and sequence and decodable books

  • Explore the elements of a Structured Literacy lesson

  • See a Structured Literacy lesson being modelled

Venue: Wadestown School, Wellington

Date: Friday 10th May 2024 9am - 3pm

Cost: $190

Limited Spaces available. If you are unable to attend on the day, another person may take your place. Refunds will not be issued.
