Upcoming professional learning events

Want to know what evidence-based literacy instruction (in the widest sense) PLD is on offer, either in person, or online? Here is a directory of workshops or conference offerings listed by date. These are mainly sourced from a range Structured Literacy PLD providers operating in New Zealand. We also list relevant conferences, both domestic and international.

Please note that many PLD providers can also provide bespoke workshops or consultancy/coaching support for your staff/school/cluster of schools. These are just the public events they have advertised. Some are free but most are at a cost.

You can search the events using the search bar (eg by location, type of offering) or check the calendar or list views below.

If you want your event to be listed please email details to liftingliteracyaotearoa@gmail.com. You must be able to describe and evidence if required how your event/course content is aligned to the science of reading or science of learning research base, and or the principles and components of Structured Literacy.
